Our History

Both the new kid on the block and a seasoned pro, Brunswick comprises a team of editors, designers, and production professionals who first came together in the 1990s under a different roof-- that of the Visual Education Corporation. Founded in 1969 by Dick Lidz and Bill West, VisEd, as it was known in the industry, quickly became one of the nation's premiere educational book development houses. In 2001, VisEd was acquired as a division of McGraw-Hill and renamed McGraw-Hill Publishing Services. When that division closed in 2006, a core team of book developers joined forces to create Brunswick Publishing Resources. Today, as we provide clients with the many benefits of our collective expertise and experience, we remain committed to carrying out the best-in-class standards long associated with VisEd.
